QUESTION: What kind of warranty do they come with (in case they crack due to the heat of the stove’s burner)?
ANSWER: The general warranty is two year for all defects based on material or mistakes during production. In cases of defects a glass-kettle will break by the first contact with hot water. Later defects based mostly on mechanical influences (beat, action, shock or similar) or cooking without water – there is no warranty.
QUESTION: What is the minimum amount of water that you should have in your kettle to boil on a stove?
ANSWER: With both the 7.5 cup and 5 cup Kettles there should be a minimum of around a half inch of fluid. The bottom of the kettles have to be covered with fluid in order to prevent cracking.
